What's NEWS? We are currently working on a class newspaper.  Included in the newspaper are articles based on interviews the children had with teachers and staff here at school.   The class is also working on research articles about different animals.  In addition to these the students will be making comics, puzzles, advertisements, and reviews of different kinds.  They are all very excited about the paper.  Ask them what they have accomplished so far.  When the paper is completed they will get a copy to take home and share with their family and friends.

After our newspaper project we will be working on a research project for our multi-cultural fair the end of May.  The class will be looking at the culture and lifestyle in Russia and compare them with their own. In Math we will be working on Units 15 and 16 which are measurement and multiplication.  Please be working with your student on their addition facts so they will be ready for our multiplication unit.
